*NewsNation host Dan Abrams slammed MSNBC’s coverage of the war between Israel and Hamas.
As the New York Post reports, Abrams criticized the network for allowing its anchors to “pander to the far-left” in their coverage of the deadly attack.
Abrams specifically called out MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin, Mehdi Hasan, and Ali Velshi for attributing the ongoing religious war to “failed policies” by Israel and the US leaders.
Per the Post, “The attcks saw Hamas terrorists indiscriminately kill families, women, children, take hostages back into Gaza and slaughter 260 innocent people at a music festival near the Gaza strip on Saturday. They also fired over 3,000 rockets at Israel,” the outlet writes.
“Right. It’s Israel’s fault. It’s the United States fault,” Abrams said mockingly in his monologue on “Dan Abrams Live” Monday.
“The policies that somehow justify or even explain the slaughter, rapes, and kidnapping of innocent civilians,” Abrams added.
“And that ridiculous commentary set the tone for much of MSNBC’s coverage throughout the weekend, where many hosts seemed determined to say, ‘Well, what about the Palestinians?’”
Abrams continued, “Notice how all of a sudden context and nuance are important for MSNBC, he said.
“But when it’s a story that fits their political agenda — like, I don’t know, an officer-involved shooting — context and nuance go out the window,” he continued.
According to Abrams, MSNBC’s analysis of the Israel-Hamas conflict “is worse than just a double standard.”
“Look, this is not a both-sides story, period,” he said.
“Since Saturday, MSNBC has made 441 references to Hamas militants or ‘the fighters,” he noted.
“They are terrorists! Full stop! And MSNBC’s pathetic refusal to call them that is just shameful pandering to their far-left audience.”
