*The Miami-based doctor who performed plastic surgery on “Wild ‘N Out” star Jacky Oh won’t face criminal charges for her death.
The Miami Police Department told TMZ that they will not launch a criminal investigation after the medical examiner determined the death was accidental.
Ms. Jacky Oh (born Jacklyn Marie Smith) passed away on May 31 at the age of 32 after undergoing a Mommy Makeover at the doctor’s clinic. In the wake of her death, troubling details emerged about the surgeon who performed the operation.
According to Urban Hollywood 411, Dr. Zachary Okhah has a history of complaints from patients. One woman claims she was left “mutilated,” after having a procedure done by him, according to Page Six. Jacky Oh reportedly visited Okhah for a “mommy makeover.” In a since-deleted Instagram post, Oh shared a picture of herself with Okhah prior to surgery.
The post included the caption, “Getting ready for my mommy makeover with Dr. Zach!! Stay tuned to my YouTube for the full reveal!”
After news of Jacky’s sudden death, social media users pointed to some of the negative reviews the doctor received online from patients.
Jacky’s autopsy report released last month said she died from complications of cosmetic surgery. She is survived by her three minor children and their father, comedian DC Young Fly.
As Urban Hollywood 411 reports, after her death, Dr. Okhah released a video statement on Instagram, saying “… my reputation in Miami for safety is exemplary.”
Okhah added, “I am not willing to operate, without exception, on any patient if my preoperative protocols for medical clearance are not wholly met.”
