Suge Knight Refuses to Testify Against Tupac Murder Suspect

*Suge Knight refuses to testify against the man arrested for the 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur.

We reported previously via CNN that Duane Keith Davis, aka “Keffe D,” was arrested last week in connection with the murder of the hip-hop icon.

Knight was present during the 1996 shooting and questions the validity of the case against Davis. He is also giving a side-eye to the widely held belief that Davis’s late nephew, Orlando Anderson, pulled the trigger.

“There was only two people in the car, and ‘Pac’s not gonna be able to tell the story, I ain’t gonna tell the story,” Knight said.

“But I tell you this: I never had anything bad to say about Orlando … he wasn’t the shooter,” he added.

Davis, 60, is charged with murdering Pac 27 years after the rapper was gunned down in Las Vegas.

“I’m not going to get on the stand and testify … 1,000% I wouldn’t go,” Knight told TMZ. “I wouldn’t testify, none of that s–t.”

He added, “Nor do I want to see him get arrested.”

“And whatever the circumstances, if he did have involvement or if he didn’t have involvement in anything … I wouldn’t wish someone going to prison on my worst enemy,” Knight said.

“At the end of the day … free Keefe D,” he added.

As CNN reports, Davis has long placed himself at the scene of the crime, saying he was in the front seat of the white Cadillac that came up beside Shakur’s car when shots rang out from the back seat, killing the musician. The rapper was shot four times and died six days later.

When police searched Davis’ wife’s home in July, they seized a copy of the memoir Davis authored detailing street gang life and the murder of Shakur. In the memoir, Davis describes himself as one of only two living witnesses to Shakur’s shooting, the other being Suge’ Knight.

Knight is serving a 28-year sentence for manslaughter in an unrelated case.
