The 2023 Black Sound Healer Summit is a one-of-a-kind Black wellness celebration featuring a sound bath under the LA sunset, community, food, and all the good vibes. It’s a gathering for lovers of the culture, plus yoga, wellness, and meditation enthusiasts of all ages to come together and elevate their well-being.
The first annual Black Sound Healer Summit is brought to you by Zentola, a self-proclaimed world renowned meditational leader, energy master, and author of the ZenergyMe Journal – Mindful Exercises to Manifest Energy. Zentola is dedicated to teaching mindfulness and meditation in communities of color, he:
- Leads the transformative mindfulness experience Zentola and The Sound Bowlettes, who travel nationwide, cultivating high-energy experiences that aim to heal globally through the power of meditation, breathwork, and sound
- Works with diverse communities, including people of color, youth, and inside Baltimore Juvenile Detention Centers
- Serves as a mindfulness leader at Charles H Hickey Jr. School, an all-male detention center, where he conducts sound baths and guided meditations for the young men and staff
- Spreads mindfulness and positivity to the next generation via his powerful affirmation series, titled the I AM pledge, is currently recited daily in over 35 schools in Baltimore and Compton, CA
- Practices his own unique style of meditation that awakens the five senses for attendees and takes them on a mindfulness journey: sight: cued lighting, sound: Zentola and the bowlettes bathe attendees in sound, taste: tea, smell: incense: touch: vibrations
“We need to shine a light on the important work Black sound healers are doing to uplift our communities. I see the shift and us coming together for the Black Sound Healer Summit will only amplify the energy and this healing movement,” shared Zentola.
