*If you’re holding out for a return to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for Cynthia Bailey, you can officially let it go now.
During a recent live taping of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast in New York City, “The 56-year-old former reality TV fixture made it known that she has nothing “left to give” after 11 seasons on the hit show
“I do not see a ‘Housewives’ return at this point in my life,” Bailey said while touching on her splits from Mike Hill and Peter Thomas. “I did 11 long years. I gave you guys two marriages, two divorces, I just don’t have anything else left to give you guys.”
Bailey’s comments come two years after she departed the “RHOA” franchise in 2021. With her absence came occasional appearances as a friend on the show as well as opening the door to focus on a career in acting. In Bailey’s eyes, the future holds opportunities and success outside of reality TV.
“I’m a woman of a certain age, there’s so much more I want to do,” she said.
Bailey’s acting credits include a starring role alongside Emmy-winning actress Camryn Manheim in the 2022 Lifetime movie “Cruel Instruction” as well as a role on the second season of the AllBlk horror anthology series “Terror Lake Drive.”
Like many entertainers, Bailey is among those affected by the SAG-AFTRA strike. Despite the current circumstance, the model/entrepreneur is intent on doing more acting once the strike ends.
“I’m actually really enjoying my acting career,” said Bailey. “We are on strike right now. Please pray that it’s over soon.”
In the meantime, Bailey remains active. She is working with “RHOA” star Sutton Stracke, who appeared with her former castmate on the podcast to discuss Bailey’s new role as the first sustainable fashion curator for Sutton Brands, Urban Hollywood 411 reports.
