Louisville Man Arrested After Police Rescue Woman Chained to Bedroom Floor | Video

*Police in Louisville, Kentucky rescued a woman who was chained to a bedroom floor in a man’s home.

According to USA TODAY, police responded to 9-1-1 calls from neighbors on August 16 who said they heard a woman “screaming for help” from a bedroom window.

Officers attempted to enter the house by kicking down the door, but it was barred. After climbing a ladder, they reached a second-story window and found Joanna Wilson bound to the floor with screws by a chain around her neck.

As SandraRose.com reports, a hatchet was found in the home and an officer used it to hack the chain bolted to the floor. An officer broke the woman’s chain with a large bolt cutter.

Police arrested Wilson’s boyfriend Moises May, 36, claiming he kidnapped her during an argument at his Park Hill home.

May reportedly forced Wilson to strip naked, threatened to kill her, and used a machete to chop her hair while she was chained to the ground, per Fox News.

“He made me strip naked, he put the chain around my neck. He called his friend and said, ‘I’ve got to take this equipment back to Lowe’s. When I come back, I’m going to kill you.’” Wilson said to WDRB, according to meaww.com. “I only had a few minutes to get out.”

She added, “Every door was screwed shut. The Fire Department couldn’t even knock down the doors, that’s how bad it was screwed, every window was bolted, every exit, there is no exit in the house.”

May, who fathered Wilson’s child, has been charged with kidnapping, two counts of assault, and terroristic threatening. He is also facing charges of harassment, wanton endangerment, and intimidating a participant in the legal process.
