Continuing to make waves on a global scale, The Standard Hotels is drawing in development opportunities around the world. This comes after its debuts in London, the Maldives, Ibiza, and Bangkok and Hua Hin.
Anticipating a positive pipeline, the forthcoming hotels will kick off next month with Melbourne, gracing Australia with 126 keys. Following suit in 2024, The Standard Singapore will join the mix, adding 143 rooms to the vibrant southeast Asian city-state.
More Locations Across The Globe
The Standard Hotel Dublin Arch, boasting 187 keys, is set to make its mark in 2025. The forthcoming roster of projects for The Standard brand appears to be a global odyssey with locations in Lisbon and Portugal.
The company is also planning to expand their resorts and residences to Mexico, Canada, Austria, Belgium, U.S. and Thailand’s markets.
The inaugural Standard branded stand-alone residential endeavor in Midtown Miami embarked on a triumphant journey. They’ve managed to secure over 70 percent of its units under contract. Adding to the excitement, Hua Hin will soon embrace branded residences, one of The Standard’s first into Asia.
Sister Brands to The Standard are Also Expanding
The sister brand Bunkhouse is seizing the spotlight, with recent unveilings like the 122-key Hotel Genevieve in Louisville. A flurry of developments also are underway in Chattanooga, Fort Worth, Houston, Texas, and Mexico.
Introducing Peri Hotels, the latest gem in the Standard International’s crown, with the addition of two noteworthy properties: the Bangkok Sukhumvit and Bangkok Riverside.
“We stand in a remarkable position as one of the few remaining independent lifestyle brands,” CEO of Standard International, Amber Asher, stated. “While most of our peers have been absorbed by larger hotel conglomerates, we continue to attract developers and capital partners who value our entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, agility, and cultural resonance. Our partnerships with owners and developers have yielded extraordinary projects that have not only revitalized emerging neighborhoods into cultural hubs but have also yielded impressive returns.”
The Standard team seized the moment to strengthen its growth initiatives. The team also bolstered its in-house talent roster, and refined its operational approach. Collaborating with owner and developer partners to craft projects, Standard International distinguishes itself by eschewing the one-size-fits-all approach. This bespoke approach has been the driving force behind transformative projects across the globe, reinvigorating neighborhoods and delivering robust returns for its esteemed partners.
