*Hey Webbies, Social Heat definitely passes the vibe check. Jump to today’s stories. Readers of Architectural Digest are apathetic and enraged about Grammy winner John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen covering the September issue of AD. Many aired their grievances by citing Chrissy’s past online bullying antics and even took potshots at the couple’s home. “This family sucks and so does their house,” said one user, ouch! “Horrible collaboration; they are hateful and divisive. How in the world does Chrissy continue to have a platform with her vile behavior?” wrote one person. Another added, “This woman Chrissy Teigan was accused of DM’ing and cyberbullying a then, vulnerable 16-year-old child Courtney Stodden “I can’t wait for you to die,” “go kill yourself” amongst other hateful things per Stodden herself and you feature her on your cover and magazine? Gross.” Chrissy did recognize her past behavior and posted a public apology, “Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bulls–t in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention-seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel,” according to US Weekly. We want to know who was her publicist and management team when she was on Twitter acting cray-cray? No one told girly to dial it back? John you didn’t see your wife acting like boo-boo the fool? These are questions that need answers.

Jamie Foxx posted some pictures on his IG timeline showing his healing progression. He captioned the pictures, “You’re lookin at a man who is thankful… finally startin’ to feel like myself… it’s been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light… I’m thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers… I have a lot of people to thank… u just don’t know how much it meant… I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day…” We’ll keep sending you healing prayers!

Renowned journalist Roland Martin chastised media outlets for running the story that Tyler Perry was buying the BET Network. Paramount announced it is no longer seeking to sell the asset. “This is why I told y’all to STOP repeating crap from bogus websites who don’t know a damn thing. A LOT of folks repeated that crap saying @tylerperry had bought @bet. It was all over social media. Well, Viacom has pulled the sale. Per the @wsj, “The company notified bidders Wednesday evening that it decided to end the sale process because it concluded that a sale wouldn’t result in any meaningful deleveraging of its balance sheet, the people said.” Translation: We couldn’t find a fool willing to overspend buying a depreciating asset,” captioned Roland.

Comedian Tracy Morgan spoke with Hoda and Jenna about his upbringing, the loss of his father, fatherhood, and how his rough childhood shaped him into the entertainer he is today. Tracy said, “We get two things in life: chances and choices. You have to put more value in your choices because that’s going to determine the outcome in your life.” His new comedy special “Tracy Morgan: Takin’ It Too Far” is available today for streaming on Max.
