*Doja Cat appears to be unbothered about losing half a million followers on social media in recent months.

The dip started around the time Doja told fans that her last two albums are “cash grabs” that they “fell for,” and most recently she refused to tell fans she loves them, which prompted a slew of fan accounts to deactivate.

As Complex reports, in now-deleted posts, Dojo previously made clear she is done making “marketable” and “palatable” music.

“My life, my rules, my style, my attitude,” she wrote. When a user responded, “I wanna hear you say (I do love you guys) as usual you say to your fans,” Doja replied, “I don’t though cuz I don’t even know yall.”

Another fan clapped back and called the artist a “high school drop out” and noted, “We have supported you through thick and thin. Mind you, you’d be nothing without us.”

“Seeing all these people unfollow makes me feel like I’ve defeated a large beast that’s been holding me down for so long and it feels like I can reconnect with the people who really matter and love me for who I am and not for who I was,” Doja Cat wrote on her Instagram stories Wednesday morning, Complex reports. “I feel free.”

She previously urged fans to stop calling themselves “kittenz” and “get a job.”

“My fans don’t name themselves shit,” Doja Cat wrote on Threads. “If you call yourself a ‘kitten’ or fucking ‘kittenz’ that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.”

One person pointed out that “kittenz” is the name Doja gave her fans, and she replied, “When i was an alcoholic teen.”

When asked what fans should call themselves, Doja said, “Just delete the entire account and rethink everything it’s never too late.”

Several Doja Cat fan accounts went dark in response to her message, and she has reportedly lost 237,758 followers on Instagram in 24 hours in June, according to CasinoAlpha.com.
