Tina Knowles Slams ‘Personal Toilet Seats’ for Beyoncé on Renaissance Tour | Video

*Beyoncé’s mother has slammed reports that the superstar has a personal toilet seat while on the Renaissance Tour.

TMZ caught up with Tina Knowles at LAX Monday and she explained that a container labeled “toilet seats” next to Beyoncé’s name is not what you think it is. Instead, “the big black box doesn’t actually have toilet seats inside … as some news outlets previously reported … she says Beyoncé’s tour uses the boxes to position fans on stage,” TMZ writes.

Meanwhile, Ms. Tina filed for divorce last month after eight years of marriage with 76-year-old actor Richard Lawson

TMZ reports that Knowles, 69, cited irreconcilable differences.

Lawson and Tina had been longtime friends before they began dating in 2013 and wed in 2015. She was previously married to Mathew Knowles from 1980 to 2011. They share two superstar daughters, Beyoncé and Solange. Lawson was also wed once before, to Denise Gordy.

“When I first met Tina, she was pregnant with Beyoncé. … I thought she was one of the prettiest women I’d ever seen in my life,” Lawson recalled in a 2019 interview.

“She was even more beautiful inside. She had a very quiet, beautiful spirit. … She was married and we respected that. We were friends over the years,” he shared.

“I went to Houston for the Shakespeare festival in the park in the ’80s. I brought [actress daughter Bianca Lawson] with me and she stayed at Tina’s house and she took care of Bianca with Beyoncé. … When Beyoncé’s career took off, I didn’t see Tina much for a period of time. Six or so years ago we reconnected.”

Apparently, Knowles is asking the court to waive spousal support for both of them.
