*Halle Berry gave her Instagram followers a “Sunday Serve” last week that made headlines.
Sporting a red plaid button-down pajama top and wearing no makeup, the 56-year-old wore her natural hair blown out in an afro. Her post of the photo included the caption: “Sunday serve…my man loves this.”
Berry also urged her followers to “Forward all complaints to him,” tagging her boyfriend, Van Hunt, the Grammy-winning musician she began dating in 2020.
Fans were thrilled with Berry’s natural look. One wrote in the comments: “A natural black woman is power and light. You embrace both.”
Another gushed: “You could be bald and you will always look amazing, kudos to your man for this look, you wear it well!”

“I’m loving this evolved & enlightened version,” one commenter added, calling the Oscar winner “beautiful at every phase of your journey.”
Berry is known for switching up her hair and showing off the different styles on social media. She’s sported a pixie, a shaved head, purple hair and a silver buzzcut inspired by her “X-Men” character, Storm.

“I’m solidly in my womanhood. I finally realize what I have to say is valuable, even if no one else agrees,” she told the outlet after appearing on stage at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity panel. “Here’s what I tell women: Own wherever you are.”
Later, she continued, “If you’re in your mid-thirties, don’t be bogged down by the idea that you have to have children by a certain age.”
“You decide. And if you want to have children, you don’t have to be defined by those old ideologies that this is what women ‘have’ to do,” said Berry, who is mom to son Maceo, 9½, and daughter Nahla, 15.
