*Los Angeles, CA – Core Contributors Group, Inc. (CCG, Inc.), a highly-respected, relatively new Los Angeles-based non-profit collaborative promoting community empowerment initiatives through direct financial contributions—specifically, education, wellness, and homelessness—connects for a third time with the community through their event, “Ujima: Restore & Repair,” scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 2023, 11 am – 4 pm, at Center of Hope Church, 9550 S. Crenshaw Blvd., Inglewood, CA.
Local residents of all ages are invited to this networking festival that will provide many giveaways for adults and children, including much-needed mental health and housing resource information.
Core Contributors Group, Inc. CEO/President, Efrem K. Bryant, with a sense of humility at how far the organization has come in fulfilling its goals of supporting the community in times of need, expressed excitement at the upcoming event, saying:
“We’re looking forward, once again, to connecting with our much-deserving, yet often-ignored, underserved community. Our intention is to continue building a solid relationship as we become a reliable avenue for empowerment and positive change for those who are unable to help themselves, despite their willingness, good skills, and intense actions to improve their situations. Beyond this intent, CCG has no ulterior motive.”
CCG, Inc., has provided more than $400,000 in funding during its brief three years in operation – helping many dedicated, struggling businesses and individuals to not just survive, but thrive during this very trying time of financial challenge coupled with the ongoing effects of COVID-19 pandemic.
This year’s Ujima event—which provides CCG, Inc. another chance to introduce itself—will be filled with fun activities that allow local entrepreneurs, non-profits, and community citizens to interact and extend support.
Live DJs, a Drum Circle, service booths, local community activists, and free food and beverages will add to the celebratory event.
All attendees—those vaccinated and unvaccinated—are asked to be respectfully mindful of each other’s space in an earnest effort to keep our community (especially those with compromised health conditions) as safe as possible from potential Covid-19 and related health risks.
