Apple TV+ has canceled another drama series. Deadline reports that the streamer has made the decision to cancel their thriller series Suspicion after only one season.
A remake of the Israeli drama series False Flag, Suspicion starred Uma Thurman, Kunal Nayyar, Noah Emmerich, Georgina Campbell, Elyes Gabel, Elizabeth Henstridge and Angel Coulby.
Suspicion was directed by Chris Long, with Darin McLeod serving as producer.
Created by Rob Williams, the show chronicles the lives of five British citizens staying at the same hotel who quickly become suspects in the kidnapping and disappearance of Leo Newman (Gerran Howell), the 21-year-old son of Thurman’s character, American media mogul Katherine Newman.
News of Suspicion’s cancellation comes in the wake of multiple Apple shows being put in limbo due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. So far, the shows impacted include the second season of sci-fi thriller Silo and the third season of Foundation.
