‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ star Gizelle Bryant took to Instagram to share the news of her father’s passing.

via Page Six:

“Thank you for being the best Dad that a little girl could ever want or need,” she captioned the post. “I will miss you everyday of my life.”

Bryant also shared a snap of herself along with her father, who was 84 years old, and her three daughters: Grace, 18, and 17-year-old twins, Angel and Adore.

Bryant did not disclose Graves’ cause or manner of death in her post.

Grace also paid tribute to her late grandfather, sharing a throwback photo via Instagram Story where the two of them posed at her high school graduation.

The teen simply captioned the post, “????.”

Long before Bryant had become a star on reality TV, Graves had been making strides against fighting racial inequality.

He was the first black person to serve in the Texas House of Representatives since the Reconstruction and also worked alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

He also worked at NASA in the agency’s Academic Affairs Division, eventually becoming its Director for Civil Affairs. He retired from the space program in 2003 and began working full-time in photography.

Viewers of the “Real Housewives of Potomac” were introduced to Graves onscreen during Season 1 of the show, which premiered in 2016.

During that time, the “Reasonably Shady” podcast host saw her father be recognized for his “distinguished public service career” in Congress.

Bryant previously spoke about her father’s impressive legacy and the impact it has had on his family.

“My dad was very involved with the Civil Rights movement years ago in Houston,” she told Bravo in June 2020. “For my daughters, this is third generation. My dad was working 60 years ago and he worked with Martin Luther King.

“For me, my second job out of college was working for the national headquarters of the NAACP and now it’s my daughters.”

Our hearts go out to Gizelle and her family at this time.
