Currently available in the U.S., One Key will expand globally by 2024. With over 168 million members and more than $10 billion in travel savings, One Key aims to cater to all types of travelers. The program features a unified rewards currency called OneKeyCash. It allows travelers to use their rewards on future bookings and enjoy various savings and benefits within Expedia Group’s marketplace.

Seamlessly Accumulate Rewards

Jon Gieselman, president of Expedia Brands, stated that One Key was designed to offer rewards for every traveler. By consolidating the three major travel brands under one program, travelers can seamlessly accumulate rewards across Expedia Group’s family of brands.

The launch of One Key comes after Expedia Group’s recent collaborations and innovations in the travel industry. In May, the company partnered with Mastercard to introduce the Travel with Rewards program. This allows Mastercard cardholders to redeem points for travel bookings powered by Expedia.

Expedia rolled out an “in-app travel experience” in April. Powered by ChatGPT, OpenAI’s generative AI tool, enabling members to engage in open-ended conversations within the app and receive personalized travel recommendations.
