*NeNe Leakes’ son Bryson Bryant was arrested earlier this month after police busted him with drugs.
Bryson was arrested on July 3 for felony possession of Fentanyl, a Schedule II-controlled substance, RadarOnline reports.
Prosecutors said the crime took place around 1 AM at a home in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Bryson was also charged with loitering and prowling.
According to the police affidavit, Bryson was at the home “evading police and claiming he knew the people that lived at the residence which was false.”
During questioning, Bryson identified himself as his younger brother, Brentt Leakes. According to Radar, Brentt’s name appears on the filings in the criminal case.
Bryson was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail, and bond was set at $5,900. He is listed under Brentt’s name on the booking sheet, Radar reports.
In a separate case, Bryson is accused of violating probation. He’s scheduled to appear in court later this month.
Late last year, Brentt suffered a heart attack and a stroke. TMZ said he was in Atlanta during the medical emergency and was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention. Brentt was hospitalized for several days before his release and subsequent rehab treatment.
As Radar reports, NeNe spoke out about her son’s health scare at the time.
“Brentt had congestive heart failure and a stroke,” NeNe told fans. “He’s really young for something like that to happen to him.”
In 2021, NeNe’s husband, Gregg Leakes (Brentt’s father), died after a long battle with cancer. Brentt and Bryon were featured on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” with NeNe. The siblings do not share the same father.
