*On Sunday, A Georgia teenager was arrested and charged with running over a woman during a dispute in a mall parking lot in Cobb County.
During a parking lot incident at Cumberland Mall, Vanessa Robinson, 18, allegedly ran down Paige Jenkins, 25, SandraRose.com reports.
The hit-and-run took place as Jenkins, her sister Kecia Lewis, and their father returned to their car after attending an Atlanta Braves game. In an interview with Fox 5’s Deidra Dukes, Lewis said she and Robinson exchanged words after Robinson warned her to watch where she was going.
After driving off, Robinson turned around and ran Jenkins over. She was transported to Kennestone Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
“She ran over my sister’s body like she was trash. Like she was nobody,” Lewis said.
Robinson fled the scene after the deadly assault but was later arrested by Cobb County police. She is reportedly being held in the Cobb County Jail.
“It was no accident,” Lewis said. “She knew what she was doing.”
Robinson is facing felony murder and aggravated assault charges.
