Raven-Symoné gave Keke Palmer her flowers during a recent episode of the Baby, This is Keke Palmer podcast.
While guesting on the show, Raven-Symoné said, “I just want to give you your props, you are a boss ass girl. I’m so proud of you.” She also talked about how happy she was when Disney Channel brought on Palmer as another Black girl on the network.
Raven-Symoné went on to say how she’s never mad whenever she finds out Palmer got a role she auditioned for. Instead, she’s proud and happy for Palmer’s success.
“Normally when somebody else gets a job that I’m out for, I’m like, ‘God damn it.’ But when you got it, I was like, ‘Immediately, yes. She deserves it…I know why she got it and I’m not mad at it,’” she said. “Everything you do, I am so proud of you at every single moment and I can not wait to see the Oprah that you step on in order to get to where [you’re going].”
After thanking Raven-Symoné for her compliments, Palmer asked to collaborate with her on some projects that fans would surely love.
“Let me know when I can be on Raven’s Home,” she said, adding, “…Can we also just do a little movie real quick? Can we do a buddy movie? Can we figure out something that we can do together?”
Raven-Symoné agreed, saying, “We should talk about it outside the podcast.”
