‘Judge Met Not’ Exclusive Preview: A Kidnapping Is Front And In Center In Season Finale Of Judge Lynn Toler-Produced Series – Shadow and Act

The first season of ALLBLK’s original series, Judge Me Not, is coming to an end. Slated to premiere Thursday, the season finale will continue to grab a hold of viewers.

In the below exclusive preview, Jay’s kidnapper is clad in her judicial robe prowling through the kitchen, deviously inspecting his tool of choice. Jay, who is bound to a chair with her mouth taped promises the intruder she will not scream if he removes the tape from her mouth. “How’s Lilly?” eases from Jay’s lips with a look of confusion as she stares at her kidnapper.

Created and executively produced by Divorce Court veteran, Judge Lynn Toler, the series stars include Chyna Layne Javon Terrell, Terrence Green, Jonathan Chase, Gena Shaw and Bonita Brisker.

The official synopsis reads, “Loosely based on the life of the famed Judge Lynn Toler, Judge Me Not is the story of Zelma Jay Johnson (Chyna Lane), an exceptionally bright, young Black woman who struggles with mental health issues, a ludicrous family, and volatile love life. We join her as she takes on her new role as a judge in a court full of outrageous characters both in front of and behind the bench. As her passionate relationship with her live-in lover takes them both on a ride, she finds herself caught in the crosshairs of a psychological thriller that puts her life at risk.”
