The buzzy brand, which has hosted a star-studded presentation annually on Amazon’s Prime Video – will now be headed up by Hillary Super, the former CEO of Anthropologie Group.
RiRi will remain in the leadership mix as an “executive chair.”
Launched in 2018 and boasting investors such as LVMH, Savage x Fenty has been seen as one of the cornerstones of the sometimes singer’s booming business empire (which includes Fenty Beauty).
Speaking on the change (which comes into effect on June 26), Rihanna said in a statement:
“It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years. This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer. I’m so grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as our new CEO — she is a strong leader and is focused on taking the business to an even higher level.”
Super, who has also served in leadership roles at Guess and GAP, added:
“I’m thrilled to join the Savage X Fenty family. The brand is a major powerhouse in the lingerie and apparel industry, and its unwavering commitment to celebrating inclusivity and fearlessness is inspiring.”
