*Tia Mowry and her ex-husband Cory Hardrict have settled their divorce, and the former child star will not pay a dime to him in spousal support.
As we reported previously, Mowry and Hardrict will share custody of their children. In court documents, Mowry’s attorney Laura Wasser informed the court that her client and Cory have “entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support,” reports RadarOnline.
If you recall, it was back in October of last year that Mowry announced the shocking news that she wanted out of the marriage.
According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Mowry will get full ownership of the family’s home in Studio City, which she paid for. The property is worth $4.3 million.
There’s also a “new romantic partners” clause as part of the divorce which states, “Each party is restrained from introducing the minor children to a new romantic partner until the party has been in an exclusive relationship with the romantic partner for at least six months.”
According to The Blast, it continues, “Each party is further restrained from permitting his or her new romantic partner from spending overnights with the minor children are with that custodial parent during the first six months of the exclusive relationship.”
The agreement also prohibits Tia and Cory from speaking negatively or in a “disrespectful or derogatory manner to or about the other party in the children’s presence or within hearing distance of the minor children.”
Mowry announced the couple’s divorce on social media late last year, writing on Instagram: “I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness.”
She continued, “We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
