*Savannah James, wife of NBA superstar LeBron James, is investing in his tequila business.
The mom of three is featured in the May-June edition of The Cut, in which she opens up about partnering with her husband on the Lobos Tequila brand. The LeBron James-backed independent spirits company launched in 2020. The ultra-premium brand recently launched its highly anticipated Añejo.
“It’s exciting to see how Lobos 1707 continues to build on our legacy of smooth and tasteful tequila for everyone to enjoy,” the superstar athlete told Men’s Journal. “I’m proud to help welcome this limited-edition añejo tequila to our incredible lineup of tequila and mezcal, all with the shared mission to give everyone a seat at the table.”
He added, “We are still one of the only tequila brands that uses this method at this grand of a scale and not just for limited variants. Our PX sherry finish results in a rounder tone on the nose and the finish, and an elevated elegance across our entire portfolio.”
After a lot of sweat and late nights, #Lobos1707 is here. Three Tequilas and a Mezcal Artesanal, finished in PX wine barrels. A legacy over four hundred years in the making.

Meanwhile, Savannah has also invested in “a web 3 start-up called Lockerverse, and a natural deodorant company called NEZ,” she shared with The Cut.
She has other “passion projects” in the works, “one of which is with a partner, one of which is on my own. And I’m super-excited about them,” Savannah said, adding, “I think they’re going to be amazing. They’re going to be well received.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Savannah explains what a typical day is like in the James household.
“We really thrive in our routine. Everyone: LeBron, Bronny, Bryce, Zhuri. I get up, and I usually take Zhuri to school. I don’t like to work out in the morning just because I don’t like to wake up to work out. But I do like to get it done at some point during the day. I find time to eat for the most part. I’ve been juicing; I do intermittent fasting,” she explained.
“Bronny is of age, so he drives to practice, and Zhuri, with her volleyball, only practices on Fridays and Sundays. She dances at school, and I have help with her from our nanny, Courtney,” she continued. “By the time everyone is home, we’re all chilling; we’ll have dinner, we’ll watch a movie. We love horror movies as a family.”
