“I wasn’t in no rush to post this because I wanted it to be a dream so bad but every hour I’m reminded of realty so I wanna make sure I applaud you in the proper manner,” the comedian, 31, wrote in a heartbreaking statement on Instagram Thursday.
“You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW your soul was beautiful Yu always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other!!!” he added. “Never had to worry about our kids loving each other cause you were on top of Dat!!!”
D.C. went on to speak about how he and Jacky were both “GOD fearing” and “grounded by the spirit.”
He said that he “will always” tell their three kids how amazing Jacky was as a person and as a mother.
“You know how our last convo went I prayed for Yu and now we are here,” he wrote, “but it’s ok we willll continue to pray and hold on to our FAITH because that’s alll we kno!!
“Love you forever and our kids are super strong they helpin me wit my tranquility no Kap!!!!! U wit me forever The QUEEN of my children will always have a spot in my heart and the paradise (Yu gon get me for Dat but it’s true).”
He concluded, “LOVE YOU FOREVER jus know we goinn harder than ever and GOD is in control and he got us covered.”
Jacky — whose real name was Jacklyn Smith — died at the age of 33 on May 31.
D.C. — born John Whitfield — was reportedly filming the Nick Cannon-created MTV improv series in Atlanta when he got the news.
The “How High 2” star and the model met on the set of “Wild ‘N Out” in 2015. They shared two daughters and one son together.
Jacky’s family released a heartbreaking statement following her death.
“It is with sadden (sic) hearts we share with you that Jakclyn aka MsJackyOh has passed away on Wednesday, May 31st 2023,” the Smith family said. “Our family is still processing this very tragic and unexpected loss; we ask that you please give us privacy during this time.”
A BET Media Group spokesperson also mourned the death of the mom of three on behalf of the “Wild ‘N Out” family.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented ‘Wild N’ Out’ family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed,” the statement on Instagram read.
“Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the ‘Wild N’ Out’ cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children.”
While details about her death are still unknown, the J Nova lip gloss founder had traveled to Miami for a “mommy makeover” by plastic surgeon Dr. Zachary Okhah of PH-1 Miami just days before her death.
In a now-deleted post, Jacky posed next to Okhah in nothing but a disposable medical gown and pink slippers.
“Getting ready for my mommy makeover with Dr. Zach!! Stay tuned to my YouTube for the full reveal!” the caption read, according to a screenshot obtained by Hollywood Unlocked.
Okhah has had a few legal issues in the past with ex-patients who claimed he had botched their bodies.
In July 2021, he sued a woman named Leila Penn for more than $30,000 after she wrote a RealSelf review alleging that he had “mutilated” her.
In court documents obtained by Page Six exclusively, the doc claimed Penn’s statements were “false” and defamatory. He also accused her of encouraging prospective patients to seek services elsewhere “by directly engaging with” the users on the review website.
That same year, Okhah also filed a $30,000 lawsuit against Kyla Neirenburg for claiming in a Google review that “happy patients” of his “don’t exist.”
Neirenburg wrote in her review that prospective patients should read reviews about the “BBL Specialist” on RealSelf because the positive ones on Google were most likely “fake” and “written by their own staff or friends.”
Okhah did not return Page Six’s requests for comment.
