California natives YG and Saweetie have been linked together for some time now, but they’ve been able to keep their relationship on the down-low. The rumors about their romantic involvement first started swirling when Saweetie made an appearance at YG’s birthday bash back in March. Then, they were spotted together at Coachella, but nothing had been confirmed until now.
Love is in the air, and YG and Saweetie are making sure the world knows it! The dynamic duo recently took a romantic getaway to Mexico, leaving no doubt that they are officially an item.
Down in Cabo, the rappers were spotted indulging in some serious PDA that left little room for interpretation. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they enjoyed a passionate dip in the pool at their resort. This holiday weekend escapade confirms what fans have been speculating for months. The dating rumors surrounding YG and Saweetie initially sparked when they were spotted together at Coachella, and it turns out that was just the beginning.
There’s nothing quite like a romantic trip to Cabo to solidify a blossoming romance, and these two are making it crystal clear that they are happily in love.
With that being said, YG’s baby mama, Catelyn Sparks, doesn’t seem to thrilled about it. She posted a subliminal message about “family”.
“Just because we got the same blood don’t make us family & just because we got kids don’t make us family.. cuz with ‘family’ like mine? I rather not have any,” she wrote.
YG and Catelyn share two young daughters. He def has a type.
YG and Saweetie have a history of collaborating on music together, having joined forces on Tyga’s “Money Mouf” in 2020 and Mozzy’s “In My Face” in 2022.
Both YG and Saweetie have experienced their fair share of relationship drama. YG’s past romance with Kehlani in 2019 ended on a sour note due to his alleged infidelity, as shared by the Blue Water Road artist. Interestingly, in March, YG mentioned in an interview that the biggest mistake he ever made was staying with a woman who was unfaithful to him, although he didn’t explicitly mention Kehlani’s name.
Saweetie, on the other hand, went through a messy public breakup with Quavo in 2021, which resulted in a series of back-and-forth tweets and supposed subliminal shots exchanged between them. However, Saweetie denied any direct references to their split on her track “Don’t Say Nothing.” Additionally, rumors have circulated suggesting that she had a fling with Offset (who is married to Cardi B), Quavo’s former group member, which supposedly contributed to the Migos’ breakup.
