When it comes to comedy, unexpected twists can make for the most memorable moments. And that’s exactly what happened at one of Matt Rife’s recent stand-up gigs when none other than the charismatic Shemar Moore decided to crash the party with some epic heckling!
Last week, at the buzzing Ontario Improv Club, Matt was doing what he does best, serving up laughs left and right. But little did he know that he was about to be ambushed by Shemar Moore’s quick wit and infectious charm.
In a display of comedic genius, the “Criminal Minds” star couldn’t resist joining the comedian onstage. The playful banter took a wild turn when Shemar playfully teased Matt to “be Black.”
“This young white boy who wants to say n*gga so bad because all his friends are black. But he can’t say it because he’ll get cancelled,” Shemar said. “But when he comes to my house, I’ll say get it out your system, n****, n****, n****, n****, n****, n****. The reason I’m here is because I’ve never met this man. I just watched him on YouTube. And I was like this mother f*cker is funny and he’s pretty. Pretty people ain’t supposed to be funny.”

Following his viral moment with Shemar, the Internet went to work, unearthing old tweets from Matt that included racial slurs, gay slurs, and shockingly inappropriate jokes about sexual assault against women. These upsetting tweets have resurfaced, casting a shadow over his budding career.
