*A$AP Rocky made a memorable entrance at the Met Gala Monday when he was seen hopping over a barrier to enter the event.
The hip-hop star is seen in a viral video attempting to make his way to the entrance of The Carlyle while stuck behind a hotel barrier with a crowd of fans. He uses an onlooker’s shoulder to help hoist himself over the barrier and knocks off her oversize eyeglasses in the process.
“A$AP Rocky just literally jumped over me,” the fan, Maddy, shared on Twitter, posting a selfie showing her frames askew thanks to Rocky.

When ASAP Rocky took note of Maddy’s post, he replied, “LOL MY FAULT $WEETHEART” before following her @youareasapmad account.
“I’m printing this on a t-shirt,” Maddy responded, adding, “Why is A$AP now oomf [one of my friends]?”
Rocky accompanied his lady-love Rihanna to the Met Gala. The couple share an 11-month-old son and are currently expecting their second child.
Maddy told Complex that Rocky told the crowd of fans “he needed to get through” before he hopped over her.
“I said ‘no’ because there wasn’t anywhere for me to go and everyone was shoving up. I had realized it was him but I didn’t fully process that it was him. After he jumped over, I had realized and I was just like, ‘That’s ASAP Rocky,’” she shared.
