*Shaquille O’Neal is set to release a new hip-hop single this week titled “King Talk.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the song is a collaboration between Shaq and the Ghanaian-American rap artist Blackway. He is best known for the song “What’s Up Danger” which appears on the soundtrack for “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” Shaq’s new track drops May 2 in celebration of the NBA Playoffs.

Earlier this year, Shaq teased the song on his Twitter, Instagram and TikTok via an animated video celebrating NBA star LeBron James becoming the all-time leading scorer after passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Shaq captioned the clip, “Congratulations @KingJames job well done. My boy @IamBlackway had this waiting for you.”

Shaq is no stranger to the music scene. The NBA icon released four rap albums in the 1990s.

Most recently, he told Keith Olbermann to “shut your dumb a** up” after the former ESPN anchor slammed LSU’s Angel Reese for taunting Iowa star Caitlin Clark during the NCAAW finals last month. At the time, Olbermann tweeted that Reese is “a f***ing idiot.”

Olbermann added, “Doesn’t matter the gender, the sport, the background — you’re seconds away from a championship, and you do something like this and overshadow all the good. Mindless, classless, and what kind of coach does this team have?”

Shaq told Olbermann to “shut your dumb a** up” and to “leave Angel Reese alone”. Read more about there HERE.
