Who Will Be There?
Black excellence will be out in full force. Jill Scott, who recently performed at Jazz In The Gardens Music Festival in Florida, will be one of the headliners. For most, she needs no introduction, but if you aren’t familiar with her, she’s a neo-soul powerhouse.
The Roots, Anthony Hamilton, Deon Cole, Lucky Daye, Tiffany Haddish, Chase Anthony, Chris Spencer, and DJ Trauma will also bless the stage with performances.
Past headliners have been Mary J. Blige, Doug E. Fresh, Alicia Keyes, and New Edition, among others.
What’s The Schedule of Events?
Get ready for the Kickoff Party from 10 pm to 3 am on May 24. Dance the night away courtesy of guest DJs.
On May 25, head to Moomba Beach for a day party from 11 am to 3 pm.
After a shower and power nap, get ready for the official Soul Beach All White and Sandals Party. The venue has yet to be determined.
The rest of the festival will have the same energy. Expect day and night parties, performances, and the Soul Beach “Extended Play” party on May 29 at 10 pm.
Check the website for the latest schedule and ticket information.
Why Aruba?
The question is: why not Aruba?
It didn’t earn the nickname the One Happy Island for no reason. The people are proud of their mixed culture and are eager to share it with visitors.
Aside from the festival, be sure to set time aside for a tour of San Nicolas, the street art capital of the Caribbean. Take pictures with the many large murals and make your followers on Instagram and TikTok envious.
