Halle Bailey took to social media to call out those who have been throwing shade at her sister, Chloe Bailey.
The Little Mermaid star is clapping back at all the haters who’ve been trolling Chloe Bailey for weeks now over her debut album, In Pieces.
The album, released via Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment, sold 10,000 copies in its first week and hit a decent #119 on the Billboard 200 list, but that didn’t stop the haters from hating.
And get this, one of Chloe’s critics was actually a friend of DDG, who’s the boyfriend of Chloe’s sister. YouTuber DDG and his grown friends got on live to “joke” about Chloe’s album sales. One of the men, named Jidion, had the nerve to say he wanted to “comfort” Chloe because her album “flopped.” Like, seriously?

Clown behavior.
Not surprised at this coming Jidion. Seems on brand for him.
I am surprised at Halle dating a man with friends like this though. Idk the Chloe x Halle brand has been on the decline lately for me. pic.twitter.com/s64E7sjToS

The clip went viral, which seemingly caused Halle to react.
Halle took to Twitter to make it clear that she’s not cool with any kind of bullying, especially when it comes to those she loves with all her heart.
“hey y’all i’m gonna say this once,” she tweeted. “i don’t stand for bullying of any kind on this app of anyone..those who i don’t know, and especially of those who i love with my whole heart. i think sometimes people forget that even though we live public lives, we are human, and have souls..”
She continued, “everyone who knows me knows i go to war for the ones i love and i’ve kept it real cute on this app for a while now.. so just reminding y’all to please keep it cute too xoxo”
Fans are confused who the message is directed towards.
One user responded, “Tell that to yo man since he wanna be around folks laughing at yo sister.”
No lies told there.
