*Rapper Flo Rida is being accused of refusing pleas by his baby mama to pay for their 6-year-old son’s medical bills after the boy fell from a five-story window in March.
HipHopDX reports that Alexis Adams wanted the rapper to kick in for the expenses, but Flo Rida refused, even though he was court-ordered in 2018 to provide child support for their special needs son. And literally adding insult to injury, the outlet reported that Adams accused Flo Rida of referring to their son, who has been diagnosed with autism and the brain condition hydrocephalus, as a “devil child.”
Zohar Paxton Dillard fell from the fifth-floor window of Adams’ rented New Jersey apartment on March 4 and reportedly landed on a patch of concrete below the window. Adams claims Zohar suffered “a shattered pelvis, left metatarsal fractures, Grade 3 liver laceration, internal bleeding, and collapsed lungs,” among other injuries.
People.com reports that Adams is suing the building’s management company for negligence, claiming they installed the “incorrect sized guards” on the windows “even though these windows were on a fifth-floor story apartment, thereby breaching their duty of care.”

Adams said in a written statement provided by her attorney Steven P. Haddad: “As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces. I am devastated, angry and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to willful negligence of our landlord and others involved In failing to take necessary safety measures. It is devastating to see my child go through such pain and trauma, knowing that this could have been prevented. My son could have died! I wish I could take away his pain. My repeated written requests for window guards went ignored. The absence of appropriate window safeguards has resulted in a life-altering incident for my family. My son’s life will never be the same, and I hope that no other family has to go through a similar tragedy. I am just so grateful that my son is alive, fighting and is still here with me. He’s a real-life superhero.”
An undisclosed amount of damages are being sought for Dillard’s current and future medical bills, legal fees, and any ongoing and future physical and mental pain and suffering, People reports.
