*You do not have to have ever played the popular game, Dungeons & Dragons, to enjoy the film “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” now in theaters.
Nothing can beat a charismatic cast that plays well together and is privy to daunting, dazzling special effects that will surely bring thrills, chills and fun for everyone.
The players Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head and Hugh Grant are thrown into mystical fantasy worlds and realms that leave nothing to the imagination.
Although action-packed and scary at times, there is an abundance of humor that will tickle your funny bones.
What’s not funny, however, is when the bard Edgin (Chris Pine) and his best friend and confidant Holga (Michelle Rodriguez) are incarcerated in the notorious prison Revel’s End.

The pair was betrayed by the nefarious Forge Fitzwilliam (Hugh Grant), who allied himself with the powerful wizard, Sofina (Daisy Head).
Forge took Edgin’s beloved daughter Kira (Chloe Coleman) to live as his ward in the great metropolis of Neverwinter where, with Sofina’s help, Forge installed himself as ruler.
Also, Sofina’s subdued look was Tems‘ outrageous and inconsiderate inspiration for this year’s Oscars.
Holga is formidable, lethal, and intimidating, but above all, she is deeply loyal to those she loves. Holga and Edgin bond over a commitment to find his Black daughter, Kira.
Kira’s mother Zia (Georgia Landers) was killed when she was a baby. It’s interesting that Chris Pine’s character Admiral James T. Kirk in “Star Trek” wanted to hook up with Uhuru (Zoe Saldana), but Uhuru had her eyes set on Spock.
