*Tiger Woods is making significant moves in the sports media industry via his TMRW Sports venture.
The company, founded with partners Mike McCarley and Rory McIlroy to build “progressive approaches to sports, media, and entertainment,” has just added some heavy hitters to its roster of all-star investors. NBA superstars Shaquille O’Neal, Dwyane Wade, and Kevin Durant, and Rich Kleiman’s 35V join other basketball greats Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala, Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Jayson Tatum and Diana Taurasi as TMRW Sports investors.
“The broadening appeal of what we are building with TMRW Sports continues to gain momentum as we welcome more investors with Shaq, Kevin, and Dwyane to our team,” said McCarley. “As champions, they understand what it takes to build a great team.
He added: And I welcome their leadership, insight, and enthusiasm for what we’re developing as we reimagine sports through the lens of a new generation of connected fans. Plus, I can’t wait for the company pickup games.”

TMRW was launched in August 2022 and is expected to debut officially in 2024. It will also feature a tech-infused golf league, a feature that Woods is most excited about.
“As a big sports fan myself, I’m excited about blending golf with technology and team elements common in other sports,” Woods said regarding the partnership. “We all know what it’s like to be in a football stadium or a basketball arena where you can watch every play, every minute of the action unfolds right in front of you. It’s something that inherently isn’t possible in traditional golf.”
