Here we go again! Tamar Braxton has finally confirmed that Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker are the alleged couple who had threatened her, three months after she initially made the accusation. Now, Tamar and Kandi are feuding on social media. Deets inside…
Drama, drama…and more drama!
Tamar Braxton has confirmed that Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker are the alleged couple in question, three months after she claimed she was threatened by a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member and her husband.
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the “Queens Court” star was asked to reveal who was responsible, and she first dismissed host Andy Cohen’s guesses of Eva Marcille and Drew Sidora.
“And it really did happen, I’m not lying. Like, I’m not looking for attention or drama or anything like that, but that sh*t really happened, it was not cute,” said Tamar.
Andy correctly guesses Kandi after Tamar confirms that the accused is a “full Housewife,” with the reality star looking into the camera and taking a sip of her drink.
“I thought you and Kandi mended everything after Big Brother,” Andy said, to which Tamar replied, “I though so, too. I had no idea. I’ll tell you the story later.”
Tamar took to Twitter after the allegation aired on TV to defend herself against fans who thought she was just stirring up drama.
The “Braxton Family Values” star also stated that her fiancé, Jeremy “JR” Robinson, attempted to “check” Todd, but both he and Kandi refused to address the situation.
“Before y’all start.. I left the situation alone. but the fact is kandi &Todd wanted to fight me!! Periodt!!,” Tamar tweeted. “There was witnesses and Jr came to the next show to check Todd and she nor he won’t address it cause how do u defend that? The facts are the facts tho. I’m off it #changed”
She ended her tweet with the hashtag “changed” to promote her new single.
Tamar responded to a fan’s comment that she was “taking the bait” by answering the question, saying she isn’t “scared” of anyone or the truth.
“I answered a question like everyone else does,” the songbird responded. “I’m not scared of anyone or the truth! Y’all don’t want me to say nothing cause ThTs not her narrative on tv. It’s been months and she addresses EVERYTHING and EVERYONE.. why not this? I welcome them both to speak on it and LIE.”
We see what she did there by saying “speak on it,” as that is the name of Kandi’s YouTube series where she reacts to the reality shows she stars in.
Tamar continued to explain her side of the story, breaking down what happened to reignite her beef with Kandi:
In an Instagram Live video, the 46-year-old mother, who celebrated her birthday a few days ago, made claims that the drama began when she was asked about Carlos King and the alleged feud between him and Kandi. Carlos and Kandi are at odds after he allegedly tried to have an XSCAPE documentary series/film made without any of the ladies’ consent.
Apparently, Tamar was asked about the drama during an appearance on Dish Nation. She said she needed to hear the full story before calling anyone a liar because she’s a “5-time Emmy-nominated journalist.”
According to Tamar, weeks go by, and she runs into Kandi backstage at a concert where they both were performing. While Tamar thought everything was good, Kandi quickly let her know she wasn’t feeling her. Things escalated, which resulted in Kandi’s husband, Todd Tucker (who she dubbed “Toddina”), walking over to calm Kandi down. As Kandi was allegedly popping off on Tamar, she claims she kept apologizing to Kandi to deescalate the situation before Todd threatened her.
“And like, he comes and gets her. He said something to her and then he looks at me in my face…n*gga look at me in my face and go, ‘You know what it is.’ Now this is a dude!”
Tamar’s new fiancé, JR, also spoke on the situation, saying Todd’s actions were a “coward move.” He claims he spoke to Todd about it and that he apologized for it.

Well, Kandi, who is currently starring on “Queens of R&B,” caught wind of Tamar’s comments and dropped a subliminal message. She implies that someone is playing the victim by sharing a shady “Addams Family” clip on Instagram with the rolling eyes emoji in the caption. Check it:
In response, Tamar put up a response on IG Stories, reacting to Kandi’s “victim” post:
”I AM THE VICTIM WHEN YOUR MAN STEPS TO A WOMAN!! Sounds like an abused woman to me to see nothing wrong with that!! I hope he’s not beating your a** … I pray for your healing,” Tamar wrote.
Yikes.
In another post, Tamar said she’s done talking about the situation:
“I’m DONE talking about it,” Tamar wrote. “Obviously it happened. kandi wants to deflect and condone her man’s behavior by calling me a “victim”(smh)….it’s abusive and disrespectful and it’s NEVER OK FOR A MAN TO STEP TO A WOMAN!!! Fans don’t have to agree!! PERIODT!! Everyone have a nice day. God is so good! Watch #queenscourt and stream my new song #changed ps….. i spy with my little eye the TRUTH.”
After saying she was done talking about it, she hopped on Twitter to speak on the issue again:
“Listen, Im healed AND saved but God don’t want us to be roll over rovers!! I’m standing firm on what i said, exactly how it happened and don’t need to lie about ANYTHING!!”
Well, alright. Do you believe Tamar’s story? We’re sure Kandi will “speak on it” in an upcoming episode on her YouTube series.
