*Season 2 of Apple’s award-winning hit musical comedy “Schmigadoon!” debuts April 5 on Apple TV+, and we have the trailer and first-look images of returning cast members Cecily Strong and Keegan-Michael Key.
The musical comedy series also stars Tituss Burgess, Dove Cameron, Jaime Camil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ariana DeBose, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski, Patrick Page, Martin Short and Aaron Tveit.
The Apple Original series, co-created by Cinco Paul, will return for season two on Apple TV+ with all new original songs and guest stars. The first two episodes of its six-episode second season will initially debut, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through May 3, 2023, per a press release.

Here’s the official Season 2 synopsis: Having found true love in the town of Schmigadoon, season two of “Schmigadoon!” will find Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) in Schmicago, the reimagined world of ’60s and ’70s musicals.
Per the press release: “Since its debut, “Schmigadoon!” has earned global acclaim and accolades, including Emmy and AFI Award wins and a Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for star Kristin Chenoweth. Viewers can catch up on the complete first season of “Schmigadoon!,” now streaming on Apple TV+.”
