Costume Designer Ruth E. Carter did the thing and snagged her second Academy Award for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” the first Black woman to win Oscars for an original film and its sequel. She spoke to the press backstage and revealed that her mother died last week and was completely supportive of her career. We know the second win was bittersweet. Congrats Ruth!

The musician, whose real name is Constantinos Tsobanoglou, collapsed and died while performing at the Ulta music festival in Johannesburg on Saturday.
