Angela Bassett was absolutely stunning in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
That performance was worthy of an Oscar, and incredibly worthy of being the first MCU performance to win an Oscar.

Angela Bassett’s excellence is undeniable. But a reminder of the mentality she was up against in trying to win an Academy Award. Of course, not all voters think this way, but I’m guessing this isn’t the only voter that has these kind of views. pic.twitter.com/MFY5aQ7Ntx

She said the quiet part out loud—Black women are always expected to perform. I’m glad Angela Bassett allowed herself to be a human being in spite of what the withering whites like this one would say. https://t.co/NGf8tNUFuG
