A new poster and the first full trailer for The Little Mermaid dropped during ABC’s telecast of the 2023 Academy Awards.
The trailer shows Halle Bailey’s Ariel saving Prince Eric after his ship crashes. Her father, King Triton, isn’t happy that she intervened and she is also tempted by Ursula. A good amount of Bailey’s rendition of “Part of Your World” is showcased in the trailer as well.
The Rob Marshall-directed film hits theaters on May 26.
