The Creed universe is upon us, with Michael B. Jordan having a number of projects including an anime series and a live-action Amara series in development at Amazon.
After the success of the Creed film series, most notably Creed III, which became the highest-grossing sports film of all time, Michael B. Jordan is now taking the story of Adonis Creed to the max with the announcement of a “Creed-verse” with Amazon that will span across film and television.

Deadline reports that Jordan has been taking meetings regarding different projects that could exist within the Creed universe over the past year, according to sources. The scope of the universe has become even bigger now that the franchise’s third film has broken box office records.
Some things that could be coming down the road include an anime series, live-action TV series, and a project possibly centering around Adonis Creed’s daughter Amara. This project in particular would be a big source of representation for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, since the character and the actress portraying her, Mila Davis-Kent, are deaf.
In an interview with Deadline prior to news of the Creed-verse, Jordan said that “building the Creed universe is something that I’m really excited about.” Seeing how well Jordan has curated the Creed storyline so far, it stands to reason that there could be even more success down the line for him with the character and the world he’s created.
