*From the “What-tha-hey-all?” department comes this story about six-time NBA All-Star Shawn Kemp. He’s been arrested and booked in an alleged drive-by shooting case in Tacoma, Washington.
The details are kinda sketchy at this point, but a tweet from the Tacoma Police Department revealed that on Wednesday shots were fired following an altercation between the occupants of two cars in a parking lot, according to ESPN.
One of the cars fled the scene; a gun was later recovered. No injuries were reported.
Tacoma Police state that Kemp, 53, was booked for a drive-by shooting and that there is an ongoing investigation.

According to Pierce County Corrections records, Kemp was booked at 5:58pm Pacific Time and charged with a felony.
As of this posting, he remains in custody, according to inmate records.
Kemp played in the NBA from 1990-2004, starring on the Seattle Supersonics and also making multiple All-Star teams as a member of the Cavaliers and Trail Blazers before concluding his career with the Magic.
