*A little white girl on TikTok has gone viral for calling herself a “strong Black woman.”
In the video, the blonde-haired toddler says to the camera, “You will not influence me. I am my own person. I am a strong Black woman.” A Black woman with the TikTok user handle @darkskintourist, reposted the video and defended the child, saying, “she said what she said. What the problem is?”
As Owlcation reports, the reactions to the child’s video were mixed, with one person writing “We all have our own heroes we identify with! Hers is a strong black woman. Gotta respect her choice!” Another commenter noted, “The problem is that she not Black.”

Black women on TikTok appear to be over the moon for this child, as one user commented, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”
Another person chimed in with, “when looking up for power, strength, and courage…I’m looking for a black woman.”
“LOVE IT!!!! She sees how strong y’all are and sees y’all as her heroes!!!,” added another TikTok user.
One person said the little girl “loves honors and respects the black woman.”
When a commenter said the child views Black women “as strong” so “she wants to be strong as well,” another person pointed out that transracial activist Rachel Dolezal thinks she’s a “strong Black woman” too “and it didn’t go so well” for her, the person wrote.
