Season two is laser-focused on those with a direct connection to the cases, including the investigators, witnesses, journalists and loved ones of the victims. Each episode features a story unique to Atlanta, where the convergence of the technology, entertainment and music industries have brought fame and wealth to the forefront sometimes followed by very deadly consequences.
The murders of Darius Bottoms, a member of one of Atlanta’s most prominent families; Jia Yann “James” Chao, a successful IBM programmer; and Terry Porter, a conscientious man who dedicated his life to helping the elderly, are among the cases that give a fresh perspective to this season. “The Real Murders of Atlanta” also delves into these murders, which left the city shaken and law enforcement seeking justice.

March 17— “West End Nightmare”
When a hero of Atlanta’s West End is executed in front of his home, detectives must find the killer with no evidence and no witnesses. The killer is finally brought to justice and the community is in disbelief when he’s identified.
March 24 — “Deadly Election”
The newly elected Dekalb County sheriff is murdered just days before taking office. When the task force digs into who would kill such a decorated public figure, they uncover a chilling conspiracy that shakes Atlanta law enforcement to its core.
March 31 –“Terror in East Point”
A serial shooter terrorizes the quiet Atlanta suburb of East Point, leaving a trail of bodies and cryptic notes in his wake. With five shootings and counting, investigators race against the clock to find the killer before he strikes again.
April 7 — “Crime of Fashion”
When a rising star in Atlanta’s fashion scene is murdered, detectives must determine if the shooting is related to a business deal gone bad or is it a personal vendetta? The team cracks the case and are shocked when they discover the mastermind.
The Real Murders of Atlanta is produced by 44 Blue Productions with Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch, David Hale, and Dan Messina serving as Executive Producers.
