*Malcolm X’s family is to sue the NYPD and the U.S. Government agencies for allegedly concealing evidence of his assassination which occurred on February 21, 1965. This year marks the 58th anniversary of the assassination of Malcolm X. His daughter, Ilyasah Shabazz, gave a press conference to announce that she is suing the New York Police Department and other central agencies for the murder of her father. Needs to be seen, how this develops, and in continuation to mark Black History Month, OUR ROOTS throws the spotlight on the icon himself, Malcolm X. He would have been 98 years in May.
