From Office Window Chicago Woman Watches Brazen Crew Steal Her Car’s Catalytic Converter | VIDEO

*Talk about not giving a crap. That seemed to be the attitude of a Chicago area robber crew as they pulled off a catalytic converter theft in broad daylight while being filmed on a surveillance video camera.

What’s even more interesting is that the car owner/victim, Laura Poskus, watched as her car was being vandalized. The team arrived with a jack and Sawzall and it took them less than three minutes to get what they came for.

“As I look out the window, I see two people next to my car. I’m going, ‘What are they doing next to my car?’” she said. “And I literally screamed and scared my coworker.

Even though it didn’t help at all, Poskus heeded law enforcement recommendations to prevent this type of crime and had police spray paint her VIN number on the part with a stencil to make it identifiable. The thieves apparently didn’t get the memo or did and still didn’t care ’cause they stole the converter, anyway.
