Black-Owned Jenesis House Offering Luxury Retreats In Sedona, Cabo San Lucas, And Marrakech – Travel Noire

Jenesis Laforcarde is on a mission to open Arizona’s first female, Black-owned, all-inclusive wellness resort. A 13-room destination retreat specializing in providing a luxury self-care experience, The Jenesis House is heavily inspired by African and Asian influences, in reflection of Laforcarde’s cultural background. The resort will be located in historic Prescott, Arizona, within close proximity to Phoenix, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon Railroad.

The Jenesis House launched a series of exclusive experiences designed to help guests indulge in self-care. The retreats offer guests the opportunity to nourish their creativity, disconnect from their daily lives and reconnect with what’s important.

“We are not franchising a brand, we are creating our own,” Laforcarde told Travel Noire in a recent interview. “Over the past few years, we have been telling our story through our line of candles and wellness products, which resulted in numerous inquiries from people around the world who are eager to book a stay at The Jenesis House.”

The retreat series was created to meet this growing demand and also offer unique, one-of-a-kind experiences for those seeking something refreshing. With its desert oasis luxury retreats, The Jenesis House has partnered with three properties to perform complete resort takeovers.

The Chèque In: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico retreat takes place on dates in May, June, July and October.

Curated as an all-inclusive experience designed for those seeking rejuvenation, The Jenesis House has completed a full occupation of this secluded oceanfront resort located 20 short minutes from Cabo San Lucas proper. The result is an opportunity for guests to inhabit one of 16 gorgeous guest rooms set upon five secluded acres flanked by the Baja desert on one side with the other caressed by the Pacific Ocean.

This isolated, solar-powered property boasts a spacious clubhouse and a refreshing saltwater pool with a hot tub. Additionally, there are two yoga studios, a picturesque viewing deck and a magical stone labyrinth.

For its Chèque Out: Marrakech, Morocco retreat available on dates in November, The Jenesis House selected a truly magical location. Lanterns cast a soft glow on the red walls and brick courtyard of this traditionally inspired retreat outside Marrakech

The 20 bedrooms are furnished with classic Moroccan rugs as well as streamlined modern furnishings. The setting was inspired by the works of fashion at the nearby Yves Saint Laurent Museum and the Majorelle Garden.
