Rihanna made a point of making her first live performance in seven years memorable. Watch the Bajan beauty perform at Apple’s Super Bowl LVII halftime show, during which she revealed her pregnancy! Plus, details on her red hot performance ‘fit, which was a tribute to the late fashion icon Andre Leon Tally, inside…
Well, that’s one epic way to announce a pregnancy!
Leave it to Rihanna to defy all of the conventions of a typical Super Bowl halftime show! The global superstar took the largest stage and transformed it into something uniquely hers.
The moment the camera panned her body and she rubbed her stomach, real fans knew something was up.

That little belly rub at the beginning? Oh yeah. She definitely was telling us something.
Rihanna, dressed in a bright red Loewe jumpsuit with a molded breast bustier, performed 12 of her classic hits for 13 minutes for Apple’s Super Bowl LVII halftime show, commanding everyone’s attention inside Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium and around the world.
RiRi unzipped her jumpsuit to show off her baby bump without actually revealing it, if you catch our drift. She didn’t announce her pregnancy during the performance, but it was definitely noticeable.
During her performance, social media (and our group chats) were flooded with speculation about whether or not the star was pregnant. She had given birth to a baby boy in May 2022, so many assumed she hadn’t lost any pregnancy weight, unaware she was carrying new pregnancy weight.
Fans noticed she wasn’t all-out dancing as she floated through her hits, beginning with “B**ch Better Have My Money,” continuing with “We Found Love,” “Rude Boy,” “Work,” “Only Girl (In the World),” and ending with “Umbrella.”
Her boo, A$AP Rocky, was right there cheering her on:

The nine-time Grammy winning singer used her performance to pay tribute to late VOGUE legend André Leon Talley, who died in January 2022 at the age of 73, and his red Norma Kamali “sleeping bag” coat. She rocked a bold red leather maxi puffy coat by Alaïa, which was custom designed for her by Pieter Mulier.
Of course, her face beat was made possible by her Fenty Beauty brand.

Also, ASL interpreter Justina Miles ATE during RiRi’s performance! The 20-year-old American Sign Language performer made history as the first female deaf woman to interpret the halftime show.
