The model recently appeared on E! News with Adrienne Bailon, where she broke down some of the common misconceptions about her.
Lori Harvey is shutting down rumors. The model sat down with Adrienne Bailon of E! News this week to break down some of the biggest misconceptions about her in the news.
Harvey appeared on E! News to promote the new “Black Love” issue of Essence magazine for which she is the cover star. Harvey, who is currently single, indicates in the profile that she is in a “me ” phase. “I feel like it’s always been about me attached to something or someone,” she says, reflecting on her high-profile relationships and career thus far. “This time, it’s about me. Self love, self-care, self-reflection. I’m being a little selfish right now. It’s my time.”
Elaborating further, Harvey told Bailon that she feels like she is “growing” as an individual and as a woman. Later in the interview, Bailon asked her what is the “biggest misconception” about her.
“It’s so funny, because I’m so quiet, there’s been so many stories that have been made up about me,” she explains. “I’ve seen stories about me being fully in love with somebody and we have this whole relationship and I’ll see the guy, and I’m like, ‘I’ve actually never even met him before’.”
Then, seemingly referencing the rumor that she dated both Diddy and his son Justin Combs, she said, “I’ve heard I dated a father and son before. Absolutely not true. I’ve even heard that I’m a lesbian at one point. So you know, there’s been a lot of different things, a lot stories, a lot of misconceptions.”
Harvey seemed to confirm, however, a new relationship with “Snowfall” star Damson Idris. The actor shared a picture of the two hugging to his Instagram story and him planting a kiss on her cheek. With hearts he wrote in the post, “Happy Birthday, nunu.”
