To ring in the new year, Angela Simmons and Yo Gotti officially announced their coupledom.
On January 1st, the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star and the CMG rap mogul made their relationship Instagram official, posting hot shots and videos from a romantic New Year’s Eve photoshoot.
”Ain loss a crush since High School,” he wrote in the caption of a video of him and Angela along with a black heart emoji.
”You are all I need and more,” Angela captioned a carousel of photos from their NYE photoshoot.

Now, the the daughter of Run-DMC’s Rev Run is sitting on top of the world and wants everyone to know she’s “happier than ever.”
“Happier than I ever been,” she wrote on her IG Stories.
One thing we all know is that Yo Gotti manifested this relationship right before our eyes. The power of persistence is real.
Seven years ago, the Memphis native rapped about his crush on Angela on his infectious track, “Down in the DM.”
“And I just followed Angela (Simmons) / Boy, I got a crush on Angela Simmons / They like, ‘Damn Gotti, you bold’ / Fuck it, I’m gon’ let the world know (goals),” he rapped.
In another song titled “Save It For Me” (2017), he declared his love for Angela again, however, she had recently got engaged to her son’s father, Sutton Tennyson.
“Passed my number to Angela / I thought I had her / Her n*gga cuffed her, married, it made me madder/ I respect it, I’m moving on, but the truth is I want her badder / Maybe me sayin’ her name made him move faster,” he rapped.
Before their coupledom announcement, dating rumors were circulating after Angela and Gotti had been spotted together a few times. A few weeks ago, he brought her along to celebrate with him and his family at his sister’s surprise birthday party:
Last month, Angela went with Yo Gotti to Philadelphia to attend GloRilla’s album release party. You’ll recall, he signed the Memphis rapper last summer. Watch the clip below:

The pair was also seen together in September when they hit the party scene for Angela’s 35th birthday.
