Over the Christmas holiday, YouTuber Armon Warren gifted his girlfriend Reginae Carter a promise ring to celebrate their 6-month anniversary.
On Christmas Eve, Reginae, the 24-year-old daughter of Lil Wayne and Toya Johnson-Rushing, was gifted a diamond ring that features two hearts, which Armon later shared represents their two hearts coming together as one. The YouTuber/singer gave Reginae the diamond ring as a symbol of his love and devotion to her.
“So look. It isn’t the 25th yet,” he said in the video. “You know, but the 25th is our anniversary. It would be our six month. This is my promise ring to you baby. Okay? This is my loyalty, this is love, this is everything. This is me investing my time, everything into you. I only want to be with you, this is my promise, this is everything.”
After he gave her the ring, she was overwhelmed with emotions.
“This my husband, I don’t give a damn what nobody say,” she said.

Apparently, the former “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” star received negative feedback after sharing her promise ring, so she decided to clap. She posted a tweet for the “old aunties” who had something to say about her ring.
”Y’all old a**es mad at my promise ring but been in 10 year relationships with a bunch of broken promises,” she tweeted. “Get you somebody to take care of your time not waste it aunties.”

Armon also addressed the negative comments:

Former NBA star Matt Barnes dropped down on one knee to ask his longtime girlfriend and son’s mother, Anansa Sims, to marry him. The happy couple announced their engagement on Christmas Day in a post on social media.
”YESSS,” Anansa captioned a collage of photos of the engagement with several emojis.
Dressed in matching pajamas, Matt proposed in front of their Christmas tree.
The NBA alum-turned-analyst and plus-sized model, who is the daughter of legendary model Beverly Johnson, weathered a messy breakup in 2020 (that aired out on social media) and were able to find love again.
The couple shares their son, Ashton Joseph Barnes, who was born in December 2018. They have a big blended family that includes Matt’s twin boys, Carter and Isaiah, whom he shares with his ex-wife Gloria Govan, as well as Anansa’s three children, Ava, David III, and Benjamin, whom she shares with her ex-husband/ex-NFLer David Patterson.
Good for them. Congrats to the couple.
