Georgia did what needed to be done! Democratic Incumbent Raphael Warnock won re-election to represent Georgia in the Senate, defeating Republican Herschel Walker, expanding his party’s majority in the chamber. Celebrate inside…

The people have spoken. Warnock WINS again!

Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock has been projected to win re-election to represent Georgia in the Senate, defeating Republican Herschel Walker in a tight runnoff.

Watch how things went UP when the race was called in his favor:

And THIS guy was really feeling it.

Ha. Get it!

The incumbent Senator has made history as the first black man elected in a general election to the US Senate from Georgia! He previously won a special election to serve only about 2-years of the usual 6-year term. Now, he’s set to continue the progress made in this country. It’s giving history. It’s giving blue wave. It’s giving progressive. And we love it see it.

The win expands Democrats majority in the Senate, which will not be split 51-49. Vice President Kamala Harris allows Dems to control the Senate as a tie-breaker. Madam VP Harris took to Twitter to congratulate Warnock on his historic win:

”Georgia voters said they wanted a Senator who would fight for them—and made it a reality when they reelected @ReverendWarnock to the U.S. Senate. Congratulations, my friend,” Madam VP Harris tweeted.

President Joe Biden called Warnock to personally congratulate him:

Senator Raphael Warnock, pastor at Atlanta’s historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, gave the perfect victory speech.

“A son of my late father who was a pastor, a veteran and a small businessman and my mother who, as a teenager growing up in Waycross, Georgia, used to pick somebody’s else’s cotton. But the other day, because this is America, the 82-year-old hands that used to pick somebody else’s cotton went to the polls and picked her youngest son to be a United States Senator.”

During his victory speech, Sen. Warnock mentioned that this was his fourth campaign in two years.

Thankfully, the rural vote wasn’t enough for Herschel Walker, former NFL star, to win the seat.

Following the 2020 election, Georgia Republicans passed a contentious law that, among other things, shortened the time between a November election and a potential runoff, resulting in a condensed timeline that narrowed the window for mail-in voters and reduced the number of days to vote early in-person. They TRIED it, but as you can see, it didn’t work, at least, for this election.

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams congratulated Sen. Warnock on his big win:

”Congratulations to my friend @ReverendWarnock on his re-election to the U.S. Senate, and a special thank you to Georgia voters and organizers who worked tirelessly to make this victory possible,” she tweeted.

Forever President Barack Obama praised Sen. Warnock after his projected win:

The Internet has ZERO chill, so we’ll just leave this below:
