Congrats are in order for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany. The couple just welcomed their baby boy, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III. See their announcement inside…
The Mahomes just added a new member to the family roster.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II and his wife Brittany Mahomes announced the birth of their second child on November 28th.
The couple named their son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, and he weighed in at 7 lbs. 8 oz.
“Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III,” Patrick and Brittany wrote in a joint caption for a picture of their son posed on a fleece blanket with “Mahomes” written all over it. “11/28/22 7lbs 8oz.” Also pictured was a custom chain with Bronze’s name spelled out in diamonds.
They didn’t share Baby Bronze’s face. Baby Bronze will join big sister Sterling Skye Mahomes, who will be two in February.
A day before the baby’s arrival, Brittany was cheering the Super Bowl champ on as he and his team faced the Los Angeles Rams. The Chiefs beat the Rams, 26-10.
Peep a few reactions to Baby Bronze’s name below:
Mahomes naming his son Bronze erases all doubt. He’s 100 percent from Lee’s Summit/Independence area

In keeping with the Mahomeses’ tradition of metals for names, we all agree Patrick Mahomes III was assigned “bronze” as his metal because he’s the third, right? https://t.co/U9ApNUA1aN

It’s a nickname. He’s the third Patrick. Bronze is third. Come on.
